Natural  Local Raw Propolis – 10 g

Our Natural Propolis comes directly from our local apiaries in the Nottingham and Derby area. Carefully collected by our bees, this raw propolis is a pure and natural product. Traditionally known for its protective and cleansing properties. It’s ideal for creating your own propolis tincture at home.

How to prepare your propolis tincture:

1. Fill the jar with alcohol containing between 40% and 80% alcohol strength (80% is ideal, but weaker alcohol will also work).

2. Close the jar tightly and shake it daily, preferably morning and evening, for a few seconds each time to help dissolve the propolis.

3. Depending on the alcohol strength and the size of the propolis granules, the mixture will be ready after a few weeks to a few months.

4. Once the propolis has fully dissolved, filter the mixture through a paper or coffee filter.

5. Your propolis tincture is now ready for use.

You can use it both internally (for example, two drops daily) and externally – apply a few drops to cuts or abrasions to help cleanse the area. After the alcohol evaporates, a thin film will remain, protecting the skin.
